Led by Architect Nathan Hildebrandt, a believer in delivering value for money for clients, Skewed is capable of providing a broad range of services for businesses looking to become BIM capable, or meeting BIM deliverables on their projects.
Nathan is highly regarded as an expert in ARCHICAD and BIM processes. He has presented across the globe on over 50 occasions. He is chair of BrisBIM, chair of the ACA QLD/NT | AIA QLD BIM Taskforce and committee member of BILT ANZ. He is also host of his BIM focused podcast, The Digital Transition.
Skewed conducted thorough and insightful investigations into our practice in order to gain as much knowledge of operations and staff and therefore provide a detailed and well-considered report. The report details our staffs' abilities and shortfalls as well as all aspects of CAD-related improvement opportunities tailored specifically for QOH.

Skewed was approached to provide an expert opinion on advanced BIM content for building product manufacturers. The project was a unique, first of its kind, solution that could only provide an impeccable result with the correct knowledge; hence this knowledge needed to come for one of the most reliable sources. We have a long history with Nathan and are well aware of his thorough understanding of BIM processes and how they are influenced by our content; hence we went straight to Skewed for expert advice on this project.

Skewed helped us write our BIM course for the Advanced Diploma of Building Design. With very little guidance from us they were able to produce high quality, easy to understand, thoroughly and thoughtfully mapped content for our teachers to deliver. Highly recommend them for anyone developing or needing training content.

Skewed complemented Mace’s global BIM capabilities by assisting our Project Management Team in providing bespoke local BIM advisory services to one of our Australian state government education clients. Skewed worked as part of our Mace Team to complete an independent review of our clients Project Information Requirements (PIR) and advise on modifications which could be made to suit ‘Design for Manufacture & Assembly’ (DfMA) within a two stage D&C procurement model. Skewed assisted our team in completing a set of PIR review meetings with our clients nominated stakeholders and worked collaboratively with our internal Mace Team to ensure that strategic BIM advice was provided to our client, which considered all aspects of the project.
We engaged Skewed to update our BIM Execution Plan, Master Information Delivery Table and Model Responsibility Matrix templates. Nathan worked closely with our team to understand our client’s deliverables and our current processes and capabilities to develop the BIM resources, providing STH with a foundation to amend and respond to specific client information requirements. I highly recommend engaging Nathan to assist you in the development of your BIM process templates.
