Session 4 from Archintensive 2021 with Matthew Johnson from POWE Architects

One of the biggest challenges Architects face is the coordination of information. In a model-based environment in ARCHICAD, drawings are now coordinated between one another as they are reading information from a single modelled element. The specification, however, is still isolated and needs to be manually coordinated with the documentation. That is until now. In this session, Matthew will demonstrate the processes of using NBS Chorus and its connection to ARCHICAD.

Key Learning Objectives

  • Learn about the depth of data structure contained within Archicad that is largely left uncommunicated in standard drawing output.
  • Learn how to publish non-geometric data to either directly communicate or to input into independent specification systems.
  • Learn how NBS Chorus add-ins work with Archicad data to coordinate specifications.
